IMovie

To get started with IMovie you must connect camera and import movies. Themes give movies a common meaning, they make it fun and interesting.. To organize videos you can move them around and put them in any order, also you can skim through videos..  To fix shaky video you analyze the video and it will tell you the video that you wont want to use so you can hide them, then it automatically stabilizes it. To enhance videos you can add background, titles, cropping and rotating, adding transitions, effects. Titles and transitions are effects between slides. Yes you can do voice overs. When finished you can share your video by clicking share>youtube.

Walking gallery blog post

some of my favorite themes i saw today were musicians/artists and bands, football. Some cool edits i saw were replace a face, remove a person: i like how one of the beatles were removed, i saw some cool filters such as dry brush, glow. I heard alot of good sound mixes, im not sure what all the song titles were but  all the music choices went well with the themes. it was fun to see everyone elses project and what effects they used.

sound and hearing loss

Sound travels in waves. You can measure sound by how loud it is and the type of wave. I also learned that square rooms are bad for recording and weird shaped rooms are good so the sound waves bounce and don't hit each other.
After watching this I dont think ill listen to my music quite as loudly because i never realized how bad it was for hearing loss. i realized i listen to music really loudly and it could be bad for me in the future.

Photoshop

For this photo i used the sumi-e filter.  http://www.gt-cars.org/images/rsgallery/original/1985_Toyota_Celica_Supra.jpg

For this photo, i used removed a person. To do this i used the clone stamp tool by cloning the color i wanted and stamping it somewhere else to cover up the person.

IPhoto Slideshow

This is a slideshow I made in Iphoto then transferred it through google docs. From doing all of this work editing photos, creating books, slideshows I've learned you can only take 5 photos from a website, and sharing photos and making things using Iphoto is pretty easy. To make the slideshow I just selected the photos I wanted to be included and clicked on the slideshow button, chose what theme, music and others setting I wanted and boom, I have a slideshow!
Heres the link to the slideshow: https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B3dIqIsIFb7YMDJiYzNmYWUtZjRmNy00MzNkLWIwMWQtODgzNjYyZjE1NGVh&hl=en_US

Photo Editing Part 1

Welcome to my blog! Im Bailey. This is my blog portfolio for my Multimedia Applications class. For our first unit we are learning about organizing and editing photos using iPhoto. I watched some tutorial videos on iPhoto and learned to delete an album you have to right click on the able name and chose "delete album" in the menu or you can click on the album you wish to delete and hit the delete button. I also learned if you want to make photos in an album bigger or smaller, there is a slider on the bottom right corner that you can move to adjust photo size. One more thing I learned about iPhoto is to rename a photo album you must click and select an album, the title should highlight blue and you can type in the new name.
